Forwarding manager / forwarding merchant (m/f/d)

You control and monitor the deployment of approx. 30 own vehicle units in national long-distance traffic as well as freight purchasing, taking into account the agreed performance and revenue targets as well as social regulations.
You will lead your team in Erfurt on your own responsibility using the company's infrastructure and will be the technical and operational contact person for the employees on site.
You control the utilization and availability of the vehicles, taking into account effective personnel planning with good economic results.
With your own initiative and your experience, you will look after our customers and business partners and further expand our portfolio
You optimize the internal processes according to economic and cost-conscious quality guidelines
You will present our company to the outside world and make us known as an attractive employer
You will report directly to the management

You have completed your education in the field of forwarding and logistics (forwarding merchant/logistics studies or specialist) and bring your several years of experience in leading positions as well as disposition, controlling and customer service to our company
As an experienced manager, you know the processes of the industry and are comfortable dealing with contacts at different levels
You like to work independently, committed and goal-oriented and can solve difficult situations calmly, creatively and in a customer-oriented way
You are strong in implementation and need the necessary know-how to guide employees in a goaloriented way and to motivate them according to the agreed goals and also to give critical feedback.
You like to use your experience in warehouse logistics as well as good English and PC skills in the company to optimize performance.
